CROWN POINTE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, INC.
November 15, 2017
Dear Homeowners,
The Board of Directors would like to inform all homeowners of the following Association related matters:
WEBSITE:
As a friendly reminder, the Association has a website that can be used to view approved minutes, agendas and news postings. If you have not already done so, please register for the website at CrownPointeHOA.com. Once completed, please email the Association Manager (see below) to ensure that your registration is approved to allow you access to the private areas of the website.
AFTER-HOURS EMERGENCY ANSWERING SERVICE:
If you need to report an emergency outside of business hours, please call (951) 275-8262. Please ensure that you state the name of the community you are calling from which is: Crown Pointe Community Association. Additionally, please ensure that you are reporting the issues as soon as they are observed to ensure that they are addressed in a prompt manner. We appreciate you taking the time to report these issues as they arise.
VENDORS:
All vendors that service the Association have been instructed to only take direction from the Board of Directors or the Association Manager. If you have any concerns that pertain to a vendor that services the property, please contact the Association Manager to report your concern.
LOT MODIFICATIONS:
All modifications to a lot that are visible from the Association’s common area require approval in advance of the project starting. These modifications include but are not limited to exterior painting, privacy screen on gates, window replacement, front yard landscaping, etc. If you are unsure if your improvement requires approval, please contact the Association Manager. All applications must be submitted to the Association Manager for processing. If you approach a Board member to submit your application, they will ask that you contact the Association Manager to ensure that the application is properly processed and added to your property file. If you do not submit an application for approval, you may be requested to remove the item(s). Please keep in mind that regardless of who the Board of Directors are at the time, they can require that you remove the improvement if approval is not documented in your file and they have up to five (5) years to pursue the unapproved modification. While the application process can appear time consuming and inconvenient, it provides protection for the modification you wish to complete.
SPEED LIMIT:
As a reminder, per the Association’s Rules and Regulations the speed limit within the Association is ten (10) miles per hour. Persons observed violating this rule will receive a violation letter and if unresolved it can lead to fines.
EMERGENCY GATE ISSUES:
If you observe any issues with the Association’s gates (i.e. stuck open, grinding, etc.), please report the issue immediately to the Association Manager or after-hours emergency answering service. In the event of a power outage, there are emergency procedures that can be used to open the gate. Please report the issue as indicated above and someone will be sent out, as soon as possible, to address the issue.
